Houston-based Triten Real Estate Partners is making its first entry into the local commercial market, announcing Thursday its plans to develop a warehouse facility on the East Side.

The 490,083-square-foot Connection Park Logistics Center will be at 6851 Cal Turner Drive, on 32 acres that neighbors Amazon's San Antonio fulfillment center, Dollar General's distribution center, and an H-E-B distribution and manufacturing plant.

In a press release, the company said it will break ground in second quarter of this year.

Triten did not release names or information on possible lessees for the warehouse and did not respond to calls by press time.

Will Hedges, managing director with Triten, will manage both development and leasing according to Lisa Reyerse, marketing and brand director at the firm.

Founded in 2011, Triten manages over 3 million square feet of property and its portfolio contains over $1 billion of gross asset value, according to the company's website.
