The Role

This position will be a support role for the Principals and Partners at Triten that will focus on the front-end evaluation, due diligence, closing, and business plan implementation for Triten’s mixed-use acquisitions and developments. Primary geography will be DFW, Houston, and Central Texas.

Responsibilities

Underwrite and evaluate potential investment and development opportunities. Includes Argus, Excel, market research, and business plan validation.

Oversee and execute property due diligence.

Work closely with Triten partners, external capital partners, property managers, consultants, and servicers to assist in executing the project business plan.

Maintain a model, tracking investment performance vs underwriting.

Hands-on evaluation of lease prospects, lease diligence, and lease execution
Asset management-related responsibilities including weekly partner updates, investor updates, lease analysis & negotiation, weekly leasing calls, coordinate with Triten asset management teammates.

Establish and maintain relationships in the leasing and capital markets brokerage community; gain an understanding of the local markets.

Qualifications

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three to six years of direct commercial real estate evaluation, analysis or development.

The candidate must have excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, tenants, third-party agents, and lenders.

The candidate must have knowledge of Excel and Word, with knowledge of Argus and Costar preferred. The individual must have an ability to multi-task, work both independently, and work effectively/collaboratively across the Triten organization.
