Carter Bechtol joined Triten Real Estate Partners in 2024 as a Partner. In this role, Carter leads all multifamily development and investment activities for Triten, bringing over 28 years of experience in the real estate industry. Throughout his career, Carter has overseen the development of over 8,000 units—including suburban, mid-rise, and high-rise projects—at a total cost exceeding $1.8 billion across Texas, Florida, California, North Carolina, and Missouri.
Prior to joining Triten, Carter founded Roan Residential Partners, a multifamily investment and consulting firm. He also served as Managing Principal at Stanmore Partners and as EVP/National Development Partner for The Morgan Group. Additionally, Carter held senior roles at Camden Property Trust and Lincoln Property Company and provided investment advisory services at Apartment Realty Advisors (now Newmark).
Carter holds an MBA from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Houston with his wife, Natalie, and their three children. Carter is an active member of Grace Bible Church and serves as board chair of Agape Development Ministries.
